HR Office Assistant/Receptionist

Position Overview

Provides general and HR office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Answer telephone and direct calls to the appropriate associate 

  • Greet visitors and complete the company's COVID protocol screening

  • Provide assistance with employment applications and provide assistance to employees using HR kiosk

  • Receive, sort and forward incoming mail
  • Apply postage to outgoing mail
  • Daily mail run to post office and plants using own vehicle
  • Ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies

  • Assist with other related clerical duties 

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • One year of administrative experience preferred but will train the right individual
  • Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

This job operates in a professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.  

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday.
