The Process Improvement Facilitator will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives within the organization. This position requires a visionary individual who can identify areas for improvement, develop actionable strategies, and implement changes that align with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in process improvement methodologies and demonstrate exceptional analytical and project management skills.
As a Process Improvement Facilitator, you will engage with various departments across the organization, collaborating with front-line associates, supervisors, and management teams, including the president of the company. You will apply your leadership experience and utilize process improvement tools across a variety of projects to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency in all company operations.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Project management with the ability to implement, facilitate and lead change initiatives.
- Must have proven leadership experience with positive employee relations.
- Must have a min. of 2-3 years of RV manufacturing experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate positive performance in the areas of safety, attendance and work ethic.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to apply process improvement tools.
- Must be willing and able to speak in front of groups and able to lead and facilitate events.
- Ability to work with little supervision and train other employees.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word are required.
- Knowledge of 2-D AutoCAD is required.
- Must be able to work with your hands, use power tools, and be able work within and around a manufacturing facility. Office assignments are only a portion of the job requirements
- Must be willing to be forklift certified once hired.
- Promote and encourage continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, production, and safety using team-driven processes and key performance indicators.
- Assist in deviations and recommend/implement solutions to resolve deviations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to navigate a manufacturing facility and operate power tools
- Ability to wear required PPE and transverse throughout a manufacturing facility
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
