DRV is currently seeking a candidate to join our Engineering Department.

DRV is  currently looking to add a self-motivated engineer possessing leadership qualities to our team of technical professionals .  This opportunity does not involve drafting alone; it will allow the successful candidate creativity in the development of custom layouts and floor plans. The Engineering Department at DRV is involved in all phases of the manufacturing process including drafting, product design and problem solving.  Engineers are given the opportunity to be extremely hands-on which provides the opportunity to see a product or project through from start to finish.  DRV engineers work closely with Sales, Supervisors, Production Operators, Management, Purchasing, and Q.C. to ensure delivery of outstanding product to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Drafting
• Developing custom layouts and floor plans
• CNC programming (we are willing to train the successful candidate)

Qualifications

• Engineering or Drafting degree and/or experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined, hands-on approach to problem solving
• Leadership qualities with a passion for engineering
• Experience using AutoDesk Inventor and Vault
• A positive team-oriented attitude
• Self-driven with ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain strong attention to detail while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
