Heartland RV’s service department is currently seeking qualified RV Repair Technicians. Must be dependable and motivated to perform repairs in an efficient manner.  Knowledge of electrical systems both 12 volt and 110 volt along with troubleshooting of each is beneficial. Knowledge of major structural repairs such as water damage to floors and interior items as well as carpet/linoleum replacement are a plus as well. An understanding of all RV appliances as well as troubleshooting of each is required.

Heartland offers competitive wages and benefits such as major medical, dental, and vision insurance. Starting pay will be based on experience and skill level, typically $17/hr to $20/hr to start, increases are determined by knowledge and capabilities. Technicians work a steady 40 hours per week with some overtime as the workload dictates.  Also, the service department does not shut down when the plants do and so our technicians will be working during those times.  Currently our normal hours of operation are from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. We offer the major holidays off with pay (after 90 days continuous employment). Shop uniforms are required and Heartland RV will split the weekly cost 50/50.

Technicians are required to own and supply their own basic hand tools. Including but not limited to common end wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, pry bars, common sockets and ratchet wrenches. Heartland RV supplies the major items such as saws, grinders, caulking guns, etc.
