Welders operate and maintain machines that fabricate and repair metal structures, equipment, and machinery.
Essential Job Functions
- Set up jigs
- Load jigs
- Weld the parts in the Jig
- Complete all aluminum welding
- Stack parts on skid or on a cart
Requirements
- Previous welding experience strongly preferred
- Ability to identify and measure material
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Ability to produce quality product consistently
- Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures
